Looking back over more than 10 years of unmissable, cutting-edge house music, the original 'Loverboy' will still go down in history as one of the tracks on the crest of the wave of the minimal movement. With its staccato pump, reduced piano moments and classic vocal its no wonder people are still asking for this one all across clubland.

Steve Bug's 're-bugged' mix from Poker Flat 50 flips the tune over and gets busy with some acidic stylings and funky, classic Bug synth lines. Also from that big 'celebration' of this undeniable turning point in club music, Guido Schneider's precise and sexy remix features here, with its tripping psychedelic vibe and typical attention to detail - not to be missed and still sounding fresh!

Philly based electronic pioneer Josh Wink turned his able hands to the track back in '99 and the outcome was a frenetic, tribal edged party jam that really brought out the energy in the party! Well known for his edgy remixes, this still doesn't disappoint!

UK TechHouse boys Chris Duckenfield and Richard Brown also contributed their 'Primitive Dub' remix to that package which works a deep chorded, super-funky vibe into the jacking swing of the original.

Also from Poker Flat 50 (Re-Loved), Steve Bug teams up with Cassy in a sharp, trippy version that sums up the pairs love for tight 808 beats and classic Chicago vibes. Simply hot action for those late night dancefloors!

Finally Ware Records boss and scene veteran Matthias Schaffhauser's 'Beware of the loverboy' mix twists things round further, with his inventive and heady remix that featured on the first set of remixes issued back in '99.
